what's the story?

In this quote, Keith Richards is simply trying to wrap his head around creative urges. He states that people write to build a connection, and touch other people in ways that only words and sounds can do. I can't help but agree because, in a way, that's why I design shirts and why I write. There's an urge to connect with the world in a creative medium. It can't be explained but there's an urge to show people how you feel and have them enjoy it.
