in the class discussion, mostly we talked about brave new world's relation to the tempest, and vice versa, since the title is derived from the shakespeare play and there are lots more references to it in the novel. one thing we talked about what how the themes of the tempest seem to align with the themes of brave new world. (loss of innocence, difference between man and monsters. also, one of the characters from the tempest imagines a different type of utopian society at a point in the play.
